speaks of both the asylum and its inhabitants. The only color that appears in
the image is the view on the outside of the window. This was many patients only
glimpse of the world. Imagine a life where you are confined within four walls
with never a chance to walk amongst the trees you see just feet from the glass
through which you look at them. What type of treatment for mental illness does
this sound like? Would it cure your depression?.
